New Straumann TLX Implant System Designed for Immediacy, Long-Term Results

The design of the new Straumann® TLX Implant takes into account key biological principles of hard and soft tissue healing. It is designed to reduce the risk of inflammation and bone resorption as the implant-abutment interface is moved away from the bone.

The new implant system has been designed for immediacy and as a strong solution for various indications to suit the dentist’s preferred treatment protocol–ranging from immediate to conventional placement and loading.

The Straumann TLX Implant System complements the company’s bone-level BLX Implant System. Both systems use 1 common drill set and TorcFit™ connection for maximum compatibility with minimum investment.

Designed for Immediate Protocols

  • Fully tapered implant designed for primary stability combined with the predictability of a Tissue Level Implant
  • A narrow 3.75 implant diameter option

Peri-Implant Health
There is no gap at bone level, and it’s designed for outstanding long-term results. Because of this, the system is an ideal choice for patients with periodontal conditions. Other features include:

  • Reduced risk of nesting bacteria
  • Optimized cleansability with the connection at the soft-tissue level
  • Preserves soft tissue attachment

The system is designed to provide simple and efficient procedures. A one-stage process with restoration at soft-tissue level allows you to use chair time more efficiently. It delivers ease of restoration even in the posterior region. Another benefit, the TLX Implant System is said to provide a highly efficient treatment protocol thanks to straightforward conventional and digitally integrated workflows. Features built-in emergence profile and simple soft-tissue management; transgingival healing, and the option to eliminate second stage surgery; clear view and accessibility of the connection, even in the posterior region.

Redistribution of native bone and control over the insertion torque gives the system dynamic bone management. Also, Swiss precision and quality with Roxolid® material and SLActive® surface.

According the Straumann, the system features Swiss precision and quality with innovative technologies backed by long-term scientific evidence and fully integrated in our digital solutions workflows. The TLX Implant System is designed for predictable results clinicians can trust.
