These new solutions from PostProcess Technologies aim to revolutionize dental resin removal technology and make way for more efficient workflows.

PostProcess Technologies, an automated post-processing solutions for additive manufacturing (AM) company, has unveiled 2 additions to its catalogue–DEMI X 520 for Resin Removal™ and DEMI X 520 for Dental Resin Removal™. These solutions, introducing the patent-pending Axial Flow Technology™, are said to expand the PostProcess Submersed Vortex Cavitation™ portfolio, for efficiency, sustainability, and user-friendly operation, according to a press release from the company.

The DEMI X 520 series incorporates intelligent software capabilities, a robust hardware design, and the necessary chemistry to achieve optimal IPA-Free resin removal on 3D printed parts. With a focus on a simple, personalized, and complete full-stack post-processing experience, these resin removal solutions are said to offer a variety of features. These features include; software-driven workflow automation, the axial flow agitation system, an automatic lift system, and the IPA-free workflow. All of these features are designed to boost efficiency safely and effectively.

Both solutions are said to cater to operator well-being with low odor and high flashpoints compared to traditional solvents like IPA. The validated workflows are designed to increase throughput and productivity, per the press release.

Jeff Mize, PostProcess CEO, emphasized their commitment to innovation in the press release.
