MGF Compressors, an Italian manufacturer making various systems designed for the dental, medical, industrial, and beverage industries, now offers a new line of loT (Internet of Things) compressors designed to improve work efficiencies for dental practices. These smart compressors use internet connectivity to constantly monitor the parameters and to manage the maintenance and the alarms of the compressors.

loT technology delivers a revolutionary approach to equipment service, from a traditional reactive intervention to a preventive and programmed service (predictive maintenance) capable of providing targeted, fast, and efficient responses. The new line of compressors is designed to keep practices on top of the maintenance to prevent or at least reduce any downtime that can interfere with the practice’s operations and patient care.

MGF features a complete range of dental compressed air and surgical suction solutions, from single-unit application to centralized systems. The wi-fi connected smart compressors are constructed to be quiet and efficient.

It is now possible to monitor the compressor's working parameters in real-time and consequently organize maintenance operations and set alarms in good time, according to MGF. All it takes is a simple click to improve the compressor’s performance and reliability and to open a direct channel with the service department of participating MGF specialized dealers to guarantee timely intervention.

Download the new MGF APP on Google Play for Android versions and on App Store for iPhone and iPad. The APP allows users to register their MGF compressor during installation, guaranteeing traceability in the event of a requirement by the manufacturer.

Using this system, maintenance work can be planned and organized conveniently and quietly without disrupting the normal business operations of the dental practice. IoT technology can be set up for compressors in different sectors including dental practices, laboratories, hospitals, universities and clinics, medical applications (sterilization rooms, endoscopes, ophthalmology, podiatry), and in the industrial sector (fire-fighting systems, technical gas systems, automation).

An extended warranty (3 years instead of 2 years) that comes with the IoT configuration and subsequent installation of the compressor is an added bonus.
