Maxx Digm Inc's new Chairman milling machine designed for 1-day dentistry
Maxx Digm, Inc. has released its new chairside milling machine for same-day fabrication, the Maxx Chairman. The Chairman is designed for 1-day dentistry and built for fast, accurate milling.
This milling unit does not require compressed air and features a noise shield for silent operation. Its AC Servo motor enables stable and precise control, and its 2 spindles and automatic tool changer are said to make same-day fabrication easy. The Chairman can reportedly fabricate crowns in less than 15 minutes, and it is able to mill glass ceramics, hybrid resin, zirconia, and PMMA materials.
The 5-axis milling machine features a high-frequency, with a maximum power of 0.5kW and 100,000 rpm. It uses auto-calibration and Maxx LINK allows for remote service, operation, monitoring, and training. Its 4” touch screen allows for fast and easy operation.
