Vista Dental Products recently announced its new line of Therma-Flo™ products, which are engineered to utilize heat for optimal performance of any preferred composite material.

The Therma-Flo™ Warming Kit reportedly improves the flowability of highly filled composites through the use of heat. Heating composite material aids in the reduction of curing time and improves polymerization which reduces voids in the restoration. In addition, heated composite material is much easier to manipulate, making placement fast and effortless.

With the Therma-Flo Warming Kit, highly-filled composites will perform like flowables, providing greater adaptation to the cavity walls. Able to heat composite material to 155 degrees Fahrenheit, the Therma-Flo Warming Kit offers practitioners an easy way to increase the flowable viscosity of composite materials without compromising tensile strength, wear-resistence or esthetics.

The Therma-Flo Warming Kit accepts most manufacturers’ composite capsules and composite guns, so dentists can continue to use the composite of their choice. The kit includes one warmer unit, two composite syringes and an assortment of Vista’s new Therma-Flo™ Step Down tips, ideal for precision placement of composite material.
