Kerr Endodontics launches cordless elements IC Obturation System
The new elements™ IC Obturation System from Kerr Endodontics is designed to facilitate single-motion Downpack obturation of the apical portion.
This cordless obturation system is said to provide enhanced battery life and improved ergonomics, along with an OLED interface, according to a press release. The precisely controlled, electric heat pluggers reach 200 degrees C in less than 0.5 seconds.

The gutta-percha backfilling device is designed to work without ratcheting problems to reduce extrusion time by 20 percent compared with the previous elementsfree obturation system. The battery provides enough power to complete obturation of 16 canals on a single charge.
