KaVo Kerr imaging brands to host inaugural Dental 3D University

The October event will feature Dr. John Flucke and provide an opportunity to earn up to 12 CE credits.

KaVo Kerr Group’s imaging brands, including Gendex,Instrumentarium, NOMAD and SOREDEX, will host the inaugural Dental 3D University (3DU) on October 1-2, 2015, at the Chicago Hilton.

Up to 12 CE credits can be earned, and a $300 early bird discount is being offered to DPR readers until September 10.

One of the speakers at 3DU is Dr. John Flucke, the chief dental editor and technology editor for Dental Products Report. Dr. Flucke will be speaking on the value of 3D in endodontic procedures. We recently had the chance to speak with the Missouri dentist about what attracts him to 3D imaging.

“There’s the old adage of you don’t know what you don’t know and I completely agree with that,” Dr. Flucke said. “When it comes to 3D, you also don’t know what you can’t see. 3D has really become a game-changer for dentistry. Once you can turn something around and see it from all directions, it gives you more information and it is better for the patient and for you.
