Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the launch of its new PrograScan® One intraoral scanners. These scanners are powered by 3Shape and are meant to support chairside restorative workflows, according to a press release from the company.

The PrograScan One is meant to integrate with the PrograMill® One milling machine create this digital workflow. The scanning is said to be highly accurate while producing high quality digital impressions, and it utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to remove soft tissue artefacts from the digital impression. It is designed to fabricate restorations that fit the patient while enhancing comfort for all parties.

PrograDesign software connects the PrograScan One and PrograMill One to promote chairside, one-day visits for patients. The intraoral scanner is available now as the PrograScan One and PrograScan One+. The PrograScan One+ uses wireless scanning technology.
