Ivoclar Vivadent introduces the Efficient Esthetics Product Portfolio

Ivoclar Vivadent announces the introduction of its Efficient Esthetics Product Portfolio for direct restorative procedures. Designed to help dentists achieve high-quality esthetic restorations with greater efficiency and predictability, the product combination reportedly reduces working steps by up to 58 percent without compromising restoration durability. The optimally coordinated products include the Tetric^® Evo-Line family of composites, Adhese^® Universal, Bluephase^® Style LED curing light, and OptraGate^® lip and cheek retractor. When used in combination, simplicity meets esthetics for isolating, bonding, restoring and curing during direct restorative procedures. 

High esthetics

The Tetric^® Evo-Line composites include four well-coordinated resins for direct restorative needs and feature refractive index technology to create beautiful, esthetic restorations in true A-D shades. Sculptable Tetric EvoCeram^® and flowable Tetric EvoFlow^® are universal 2-mm layering composites for anterior and posterior restorations. Sculptable Tetric EvoCeram^® Bulk Fill and flowable Tetric EvoFlow^® Bulk Fill can both be used for 4-mm bulk placement in the posterior region to reportedly save clinicians up to 47 percent of placement time compared to conventional composites.

High bond strength

With Adhese^® Universal - a single-component, light-cured adhesive for direct and indirect bonding procedures and all etching protocols - high bond strengths (>25 MPa) can reportedly be achieved. The only universal bonding agent available in the innovative VivaPen^®, Adhese^® Universal is said to achieve predictable results with virtually no sensitivity, while simultaneously promoting cost-effective and efficient use: three times more applications per ml compared to bottles.

Reliable curing

Designed specifically for intraoral polymerization of light-curing dental materials, the Bluephase^® Style high powered Polywave™ LED curing light features a 10-mm probe that covers the surface of most preparations in one cycle. Clinically proven to effectively cure all materials, the high powered Bluephase^® Style LEDs are said to allow for complete, reliable curing in just 10 seconds.

Quick and easy retraction

OptraGate^® is a single-use, latex-fee lip and cheek retractor with a unique flexibility and elasticity that reportedly makes it quick and easy for dental professionals to place and comfortable for patients to wear. Available in junior, small and regular sizes and indicated for a variety of applications, including intraoral scanning and restorative treatments. OptraGate^® is said to promote increased access and visibility of the treatment field and improve treatment procedure efficiency.
