ImageWorks launches T-100 Handheld X-Ray

Article

With the new T-100 Handheld X-Ray system from ImageWorks, clinicians can break free from wall-mounted X-rays.

With the new T-100 Handheld X-Ray system from ImageWorks, clinicians can break free from wall-mounted X-rays. It is designed to deliver freedom in workflow that can’t be matched by wall-mounted X-ray units, and efficiency advantages to a busy dental office translate to ROI.

Benefits of the T-100 Handheld X-Ray include:

  • Cost savings when compared to multiple wall-mounted X-rays

  • Portable-go to any treatment room

  • No walking back and forth, in and out of the room between exposures (stay by your patient’s side)

  • Allows you to ease your more challenging patients

The unit is designed to produce sharp images that you can count on-
0.4 mm focal spot; 70 kV output yields strong contrast resolution; ideal for film or digital.

The T-100 features a scattershield to provide superior protection from scatter radiation; internal lock-tight shielding to eliminate backward radiation from the X-Ray source; a lightweight neck strap that reduces load on the clinician and allows hands-free to adjust patient positioner. Also, a lightweight and high-quality lithium-ion battery takes 90 minutes for full charge and lasts all day on single charge (400 exposures).
