Henry Schein Honors Dental Hygienists and Celebrates National Dental Hygiene Month 2023
October is National Dental Hygiene Month, and Henry Schein plans to use the time to promote the amazing work of dental hygienists.
Henry Schein announced it will be dedicating the month of October 2023 to celebrate National Dental Hygiene Month. This month-long initiative aims to raise awareness about the vital role dental hygienists play in the dental community and their significant impact on patients' oral and overall health.
As one part of their efforts to recognize and support dental hygienists, Henry Schein created a video tribute that shines a spotlight on hygienists who go the extra mile in their roles as oral health professionals. You can view this heartwarming tribute video here:
In addition to the video tribute, Henry Schein launched a web-based hub packed with educational resources. These resources, including e-books and webinars, cover a wide range of topics, such as patient relationship building, infection control, and clinical techniques. This valuable content is designed to empower hygienists and enhance the oral health of their patients.

Throughout National Dental Hygiene Month, Henry Schein is using its signature social media series, #ScheinChats, to shine a light on hygienists. This series brings together Team Schein Members and key opinion leaders to engage in discussions on pertinent topics and share valuable insights. This month's #ScheinChats will feature a conversation with Kelsey Dalke, RDH, a Clinical Products Consultant at Henry Schein's North America Distribution Group, and Corina Monroe, RDH, a popular social media content creator. They will explore ways to enhance patient care through self-empowerment.
