Dental support organization (DSO) Heartland Dental has officially chosen VideaHealth, a dental artificial intelligence (AI) software company, as its dental AI partner. The decision follows a collaborative multi-year evaluation between the 2 companies, with VideaHealth's focus on dental clinicians and their strategy, particularly with Henry Schein One, playing a pivotal role in the selection process, according to a press release from Heartland.

VideaAI, known for its diagnostic tools and huddle dashboards, is set to be integrated into Heartland Dental's extensive network over the next 3 months. This integration will extend across more than 20,000 supported doctors, hygiene providers, and team members, benefitting the communities served by Heartland Dental.

Per the press release, VideaHealth conducted a study across 470,000 patients, demonstrating a substantial increase in the identification of clinical needs for doctors to discuss with their patients. With a combination of its imaging and workflow support, VideaAI is said to facilitate better patient care, allowing patients to receive the care they need more efficiently.
