Glidewell to Distribute Carestream CBCT Imaging Systems

Glidewell has entered an agreement to distribute Carestream Dental’s cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging systems in the United States and Canada.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Carestream Dental to promote access to this cutting-edge technology,” Glidewell CEO Stephenie Goddard says in a press release from the company. “Carestream Dental’s CBCT systems are a perfect complement to our growing ecosystem of clinical CAD/CAM dental solutions and help us further our commitment to making patient treatment faster, more predictable, and more affordable.”

Carestream Dental’s 3D imaging systems offer CBCT, panoramic, and cephalometric capabilities with options in an expanded field of view. Glidewill will also be distributing intraoral scanners, wall-mounted and handheld generators, and imaging software from Carestream, solidifying this agreement through education programs.

The company’s missions aligned, making this a perfect pairing, according to Carestream CEO Lisa Ashby.
