GC America Inc. has just introduced the GC Initial™ MC Classic Line, a new addition to the GC Initial MC portfolio.

The GC Initial MC Classic Line represents a group of products within the range of GC Initial MC portfolio specifically adapted to the two powder build-up technique. Reportedly, dental laboratories will be able to perfectly reproduce the well known VITA colors.

The corresponding new GC Initial MC Classic Line Paste Opaques have been optimized for this system and offer better masking and adhesion with the benefit of an easy application. The line features a higher chroma, offering a strong base, especially on non-precious alloys. By means of the successive dentin and enamel powders, highly aesthetic results can be achieved in the two powder build-up approach.

GC America reports the following characteristics and benefits:

  • Aesthetic results in the classical two powder build-up technique

  • An easy and fast application combined with a short learning curve facilitate the ?economical way of working

  • Good stability and reduced shrinkage

  • Modular system; evolve from the two powder build-up techniques, in steps towards ?an individual multi-layer approach

  • Can be combined with the GC Initial IQ-Lustre Paste NF and all other GC Initial MC ?system components
