Dentsply Sirona Debuts Thermaprep Obturator Oven for Use in Root Canal Therapy
Dentsply Sirona has unveiled its new Thermaprep® Obturator Oven. This GuttaCore Obturator Oven has been developed for GuttaCore endodontic obturators for use in root canal therapies. Its features include 3-Dimensional heat, slow release obturator holders, indicator lights and audible alerts, a cleaning mode, and a 2-year warranty.
The 3-dimensional heat allows for the Obturators to be heated in seconds in both single and dual heating modes. It is maintained in the heating chamber until the obturator is ready to use. The obturator holders are designed for stable vertical entry and exit of the heating chamber, making it easier and more efficient to use. The oven utilizes both lights and noise alerts to let the user know when the status of the oven has changed. The cleaning mode softens gutta-percha inside the heating chamber for easier removal. Finally, the 2-year warranty allows users to get the most value out of their purchase, according to a press release from Dentsply Sirona.
