The new solution is designed to simplify the process for dental practices and DSOs, and expedite approvals by leveraging an electronic platform.
Designed to simplify the payer credentialing process for dental practices and dental service organizations (DSOs), DentalXChange has just launched a one-of-a-kind credentialing platform, CredentialConnect.
The new platform saves providers time and is said to also increase revenue by minimizing calls with payers, removing paperwork from the process, and expediting approvals by leveraging an electronic platform. DentalXChange has digitized and automated almost all dental insurance company’s credentialing forms and requirements, into a single uniform platform, the company says.
The intuitive CredentialConnect platform simplifies credentialing with a 3-step application submission process that allows dental practices to manage provider information in 1 place. This allows the ability to easily submit supporting documentation electronically. Practices receive proactive notifications when providers are due for re-credentialing, which eliminates the need for manual processes and ensures providers get paid on time.
“Our provider and payer clients deserve a better, more efficient, and contemporary credentialing experience. It is 2024, it does not make sense for dentists who are already understaffed and who want to be in-network across 10 to 15 insurance companies to be struggling across disparate payer requirements and handwriting on paper forms,” explains Paul Kaiser, CEO of DentalXChange, in a press release. “And payers need a single secure communication platform that does not require a dentist office staff member to sit on hold waiting. Simplifying and automating manual processes for the dental ecosystem is core to DentalXChange’s mission.”
CredentialConnect can be launched from www.dentalxchange.com and by clicking the “Credential Now” button you’re 3 steps away from getting credentialed, Kaiser adds in the press release.
This latest launch from DentalXChange comes just a few weeks after the company introduced its new artificial intelligence (AI)–powered platform EligibilityAI. EligibilityAI was created to automate pre-appointment eligibility and benefits verification processes to streamline front office operations.
By harnessing the power of AI, EligibilityAI synchronizes with the dental practice’s pre-existing schedule to ensure verification is completed before the patient’s appointment. The user interface then displays the patient’s eligibility information in easy-to-read datapoints that are standardized across all patients and practices.
Eligibility AI aims to get rid of these antiquated methods as well as any errors that can accompany manual claims checking. This also ensures that patients receive the care that they need and are covered for, adding to peace of mind for the practitioner. This beneficial technology is said to eliminate the hassle of reaching out to insurance companies, making front office workflows smoother and more efficient.

Since 1989, DentalXChange has been on the forefront of modernizing and innovating dental claims by creating dental payment solutions designed to make the payments process easier. Last fall a new partnership got underway to bring Scorpion’s digital marketing technology to clients of the DentalXChange payments platform. With the partnership, dentists using DentalXChange became able to use Scorpion’s marketing platform and Ranking.AI technology to find more patients, fill schedules, and help grow their practices.
DentalXChange has grown to support a current client base of more than 107,000 dental providers. Headquartered in Irvine, California, the company through its own clearinghouse, state-of-art technology consisting of modern APIs, and secure web portals, is said to process over 300 million transactions, consisting of more than 71 million dental claims annually.
