Swedish manufacturer DirectaDentalGroup has acquired US manufacturer ContacEZ.
ContacEZ is the newest addition to the DirectaDentalGroup, which also includes Topdental, Parkell, and Sendoline. The Swedish manufacturer has announced its acquisition of ContacEz, the manufacturer of the ContacEZ Restorative Strip System and other interproximal products. ContacEZ also produces a range of Strip Systems for dental laboratories.
DirectaDentalGroup markets and manufacturers dental consumables, materials, and electronics for the dental industry. All members of the DirectaDentalGroup, now including ContacEZ, are managed independently and have full control over day-to-day operations.
ContacEZ products were included as part of Directa’s product range in January 2021.
“Since its successful debut in October 2006, ContacEZ and its founder Dr Daniel Kim have researched, developed, and distributed ingenious solutions to current practice problems, steadily expanding its product line in close cooperation with the dental profession in a way that very much resembles Directa’s philosophy,” a statement from DirectaDental Group read.
