COLTENE introduces Alpen ShapeGuard Zirconia Plus Polishers
The polishers are designed as a two-step system for zirconia finishing and polishing.
COLTENE expands its Alpen ShapeGuard line of diamond impregnated polishers to include Alpen ShapeGuard Zirconia Plus. With this addition, the Alpen line now has a ShapeGuard polisher for composite-, ceramic- and zirconia-based materials.
Alpen ShapeGuard Zirconia Plus Polishers are designed as a two-step system for zirconia finishing and polishing, and they are offered in a single head diameter of 140 1/10mm. ShapeGuard's spiral wheel design is said to offer flexible lamellas that adapt to any surface for optimal polishing results.

ShapeGuard polishers are indicated for use in polishing and finishing restoration surfaces that include the occlusal, incisal, labial, buccal and lingual surfaces.
Alpen ShapeGuard Zirconia Plus Polishers are now available for sale in the United States and Canada and come in a 5-pack for Step 1 and Step 2 refills, or as an assorted pack (two of each Zirconia Plus step). The new ShapeGuard Zirconia Plus Polishers will be on display at the COLTENE booth (#541) at the Dentsply Sirona World tradeshow in Las Vegas, NV, Sept. 14-16.
