Clinicians now have more options for treatment, with Sonendo’s notable CleanFlow™ technology now indicated for anterior teeth as well. CleanFlow instruments are designed for optimal tissue dissolution, directing more fluid energy to the tooth according to a press release from Sonendo. Sonendo has optimized its manufacturing to make this system applicable for anterior teeth, opening a world of new possibilities for clinicians, according to endodontist Dr Jim Smith of Advanced Endodontics.

“I’ve been using the enhanced CleanFlow Procedure instrument exclusively for all case types, including anterior teeth, for several months. I can confidently say it’s a win for GentleWave System practitioners and their patients,” Dr Smith says in the press release. “I appreciate the streamlined workflow and only having to use 1 procedure instrument for all treatment scenarios. We’re seeing that the inside of the tooth, once we’ve completed the GentleWave Procedure, is pristine.”

This newly-optimized instrument was crafted with the insight of studies from Sonendo that indicated the efficacy of the GentleWave System with CleanFlow technology, particularly when it came to tissue dissolution. This optimized instrument will replace Sonendo’s Anterior Pre-Molar Procedure Instrument.
