Cercon xt and Cercon ht now available exclusively through Dentsply Sirona
The new direct-to-customer distribution model will reportedly allow Dentsply Sirona to offer labs lower prices to boost their competitiveness.
Dentsply Sirona Lab is pleased to announce that its Cercon® xt and Cercon® ht will now be sold exclusively through Dentsply Sirona.
The new direct-to-customer distribution model allows Dentsply Sirona to offer labs that purchase the popular restorative material lower prices to boost laboratories' competitiveness in premium zirconia restorations.
“We are excited to offer Cercon exclusively through Dentsply Sirona because we can provide our customers the most appealing purchase options possible,” says Justin Zegar, product marketing manager for Dentsply Sirona Lab. “For example, customers can take advantage of our lower everyday retail price, competitive buy/get free disc bundles, and free next-day shipping when they buy 20 or more discs. We are so pleased to be able to offer our customers more flexibility that will allow them to choose what works for their laboratory.”

Cercon xt and Cercon ht are said to provide premium esthetics - even in monolithic restorations. Cercon xt is engineered to offer extra high translucency (approximately 49 percent) and shade accuracy that reportedly perfectly simulates lifelike esthetics, especially for the anterior region. It offers 750 MPa flexural strength and is indicated for all ceramic anterior and posterior restorations including crowns and 3-unit bridges up to the second premolar.
Cercon ht is designed to offer high translucency and the highest level of color accuracy. It offers 1,200 MPa flexural strength and is indicated for anterior and posterior restorations, including crowns, telescopic primary crowns, multi-unit bridges up to six units and two-piece abutments. All Cercon materials are equipped with True Color Technology that's said to accurately match all 16 colors of the classic VITA shade guide.
