In this live CDA 2012 video interview DPR Director of Content Thais Carter talks with Dr. Mik Falkel, Onpharma's Founder and Chief Medical Officer, about the the introduction of precision buffering of local anesthetic to dentistry.

"We haven't had that before and it allows for less injection pain for dental patients," said Falkel.

The value of buffering anesthetic allows you to get complete control of your schedule. Dentists don't have to leave their patients while the patients get numb.

"The limited injection pain creates a much better experience for the patient," said Falkel. "This will allow dentists to regain control of their schedules and work much more efficiently."

The CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry is ongoing through Saturday, May 5, and features 600 exhibiting companies and more than 140 new products.
