In this live CDA video interview, Executive Editor Stan Goff talks with J Rousek Toy Company Vice Chairman Allan Pietrasanta about dental toys and give-aways and how they help make dental visits more enjoyable for children.
"We're one of the oldest exhibitors here at the CDA Show. We've been here since the beginning over 40 years ago," he said.
Pietrasanta's booth usually draws plenty of traffic from people drawn to the toys, but he said his products play a big role in dental offices and can make visits by children better for both the patients and the staff.
"We're actually an integral part of the practice," he said. "It help keep the kids' attention while they're in the chair and then they get a reward afterward."
Giggletime Toys has a wide array of toys, stickers, lip balms and dental supplies such as toothbrushes, floss and brushing timers.
The CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry is ongoing through Saturday, May 5, and features 600 exhibiting companies and more than 140 new products.
