Dr. Riley Clark shares his experience using the CS 9600 extraoral imaging system from Carestream Dental which recently won a Cellerant Best of Class Technology Award.
Dr. Riley Clark of Rogue Valley Implant Center in Medford, Oregon tells us about his experience with the CS 9600.
DPR: Tell us a bit about you and your practice.
Dr. Clark: My practice is located in Southern Oregon and is limited to dental implant treatment. We work closely with dentists around the area. We pride ourselves in patient-centered care with a special focus on patient education and treatment plan transparency.
DPR: How did you learn about Carestream Dental’s CS 9600?
Dr. Clark: I have worked with Carestream Dental's CS 8100 3D in the past and absolutely loved it, so I've been familiar with their other extraoral imaging systems.
DPR: What made you invest in the CS 9600 for your practice?
Dr. Clark: I wanted the best, period. I recently built my new office and was passionate that we fill it with the greatest digital technology in the industry. As a result, I researched the market and eventually committed to the full Carestream Dental product line-up.
DPR: What has your experience using the CS 9600 been like, and how has it been most useful to your practice?
Dr. Clark: The CS 9600 has been a very impressive machine. From image clarity (including their new MAR settings) to ease of use, it has been the right product for our office. It has all the bells and whistles, and perhaps more importantly it just works! It is used nearly every hour in our office and never has an issue! I love technology that doesn’t require constant babysitting. I also love how the CS 9600 and other Carestream Dental technology all integrate seamlessly. There are no 3rd party software bridges…it's an A-Z in-house solution for all imaging needs and even our practice management platform.
DPR: How has using the CS 9600 benefited your practice and your patients?
Dr. Clark: The CS 9600, along with other Carestream Dental products, creates an impressive first visit for our patients. They see our focus on technology and a proper diagnosis which earns their trust and confidence. Daily we hear from patients how much "different" our office is! We think they mean "better!"
