Aspen Dental and the Dental Assisting National Board will team up to help dental assistants prepare for the Radiation Health and Safety exam and to bolster their radiography knowledge.
Aspen Dental has announced a partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and the DALE Foundation to invest in dental radiography training an credentials for dental assistants. As dental assistants are required by most states in the U.S. to complete a course, participate in training, and register through the state, the DANB and Aspen Dental will pair up to support dental assistants in meeting these requirements.
Aspen Dental assistants will complete the DALE Foundation’s DANB Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) review course and the practice test to best prepare for the DANB RHS exam. Aspen will also have other education opportunities for dental assistants in other arenas. Building strong teams is Aspen’s goal, according to chief clinical officer Arwinder Judge, DDS.
“Dental assistants are core to our mission at Aspen Dental. As we continue to break down barriers and make dental care more accessible and affordable, ensuring our teams have the resources and training they need to perform all essential functions is critical,” Dr Judge said in a press release from the company. “DANB is a leader in recognizing the value dental assistants bring and developing curriculum that’s practically applicable to day-to-day office functions and patient care.”
This opportunity will be available for dental assistants in Aspen Dental offices nationwide.
