Aspen Dental acquires ClearChoice Implant Centers

Article

Aspen Dental Management adds ClearChoice Implant Centers to its growing network.

Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI) has announced its acquisition of ClearChoice Management Services (CCMS), which provides support services to the ClearChoice Dental Implant network.

This acquisition brings together 2 of the largest dental providers in the US. ClearChoice offers fixed, full arch restorations at 65 locations in 27 states. Aspen Dental has more than 860 locations in 42 states. The acquisition will lead to enhanced procurement savings across supplies and equipment and accelerated innovation for outside and in-house labs, AI, digital dentistry, among others, a statement from ADMI read.

“Together with the healthcare providers we support, we share a commitment to breaking down barriers to care and putting patients and practitioners at the heart of everything we do,” said Bob Fontana, chairman and CEO of ADMI. “We’re thrilled to partner with the CCMS leadership team to support the doctors at ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers to create access to dental care for patients across the country.”

ClearChoice implant centers have outperformed the market, according to the statement from ADMI, with an annual growth rate of over 15%, and have completed more than 100,000 restorations since its founding in 2005.

“We are extremely proud to join forces with another category leader and become part of the ADMI family,” said Kevin Mosher, CEO of CCMS. “With our shared commitment to supporting dental practices as they deliver life-changing care, I’m excited with what we’ll be able to accomplish together in furthering our reach and our impact.”

ClearChoice will continue to operate largely independently, the press release read, and CEO Kevin Mosher will report to ADMI CEO Bob Fontana.

With the acquisition of Rejuv Medical Aesthetic Clinic and Hometown Urgent Care, ADMI now supports health and wellness practices across 3 disciplines: dental care, urgent care, and medical aesthetics.
