ASI Dental Specialties recently introduced the GliderLite, an over-the-patient dental surgical table. Compact but versatile, this new surgical table is designed to make it easy to make everything needed during a procedure conveniently in reach, even in smaller operatory spaces.

The surgical table is designed to be positioned over standard or surgical-style dental patient chairs, and it features heavy-duty casters and a handle on each side to make it easy to navigate around an operatory.

The main worktop is non-porous and designed to provide the space needed to set out sterile instruments and cassettes as well as other materials and accessories that will be used during a procedure. It measures 45.5 in wide by 23 in deep, and is easy to clean.

An optional floating instrument shelf sits above the main worktop, and it can be easily maneuvered into position when needed or shifted out of the way when not needed. Additionally, 2 side dovetail rails can be used to attach additional trays, sharps containers, dispensers, saline irrigation/IV hooks, or miniature waste receptacles.

Suitable for use while standing or sitting, the surgical table features electrical height adjustment, quickly moving into the desired position. Height presets are programmable to allowing different clinicians to save their preferred working position.

Additionally, electric outlets on the back of the GliderLite surgical table provide power to tabletop instruments, avoiding potential tangles or tripping hazards from their power cords.
