In an effort to address the time constraints dentists face in their practices today, Bien-Air, a Swiss medical technologies company, announced the launch of what is said to be the industry’s most powerful turbine.

By authorizing faster dental procedures, the Tornado reportedly has a more positive impact on the efficiency and profitability of dental clinics around the world.

Outstanding power: Thanks to a series of proprietary technologies, the Tornado delivers a power output of 30 watts-reportedly the best in the industry today.

Patient comfort: Operating at an unparalleled 55-decibel sound level, the Tornado is said to skillfully combine performance with user and patient comfort. In addition, The Cool Touch™ anti-heating feature assures patient safety.

Premier features: Bien-Air chose the Tornado to premier features such as a new spray/illumination system and an improved bur-locking mechanism. Also, to guarantee superior durability, the Tornado reportedly is fitted with custom-designed ceramic ball bearings capable of handling the highest speed and heaviest loads.

Size and weight: The optimal diameter and height of the head are said to facilitate maneuverability and posterior access. The Tornado’s comparatively lighter weight is designed to push the limits of comfort even further with more balanced manipulation and reduced hand and wrist fatigue.

Masterful engineering: A small head is designed to improve posterior access and pediatric use. Soft Push™ reportedly enables quick and easy bur release, and TotalTact™ is designed to provide a nonslip, scratch-resistant coating for ergonomic advantage. The Tornado comes with up to a three-year warranty.
