Apex Dental has relaunched its PinkWave™ curing light. Equipped with QuadWave™ Technology, the PinkWave is said to be the next-generation of curing lights.

The PinkWave is designed to decrease the shrinkage of composite materials by up to 37% while increasing composite hardness by 23% compared to a standard blue curing light. QuadWave Technology uses 4 different wavelengths: UV, Blue, Red, and Near-infrared, all while having one of the largest curing areas on the market at 113m2. With its slim design, the PinkWave is easily accessible for posterior restorations without creating patient discomfort.

The PinkWave also features a built-in transilluminator for cracks and caries detection and 2 ergonomically friendly on/off buttons placed on both sides of the handpiece. The light also has 3 modes (standard, ramp, boost), and has an output of 1640mW/cm2 on standard mode.
