Align Announces Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro Visualization Tool

Align has announced the introduction of a new smile visualization tool called the Outcome Simulator Pro. This chairside software uses patient photos captured through the Invisalign Practice mobile application combined with scans taken on the iTero Element Plus series of scanners to create and simulate end results for Invisalign patients.

Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro works during consultation, allowing patients to receive a full predictive image of what their potential smile will look like with continued Invisalign therapy. This tool is designed to help dentist boost their efficiency during clear aligner treatment, according to a press release from Align.

“The new Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro tool is a demonstration of our continued commitment to bringing greater efficiency and more value to doctors through innovation and simplified workflows via the iTero Element portfolio,” Executive Vice President, iTero scanners and services business, Yuval Shaked said in the press release. “It is an exciting new development that further Align’s vision of an integrated platform of digital products and services, providing a seamless solution for doctors to efficiently and effectively treat their patients with Invisalign clear aligners and to build their practices through a holistic, end-to-end digital treatment experience.”

Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro Visualization Tool also has the added benefit of the ClinCheck “In-Face” Visualization tool. This system lets patients see how the smile will look on their actual face by combining a photo and the scan.

Outcome Simulator Pro is in limited market release and is slated to be available starting in the second half of 2022.
