The cloud practice management software is now available for customer licensing.

Patterson Dental, a business unit of Patterson Companies, today announced that its new cloud practice management software, Fuse, is now available for customer licensing. Fuse is designed to centralize all scheduling, patient information and practice data – accessible anywhere and in real time.

“By asking hundreds of dental professionals, we built a unique practice management tool that will meet the needs of our evolving industry,” says Dave Misiak, president, Patterson Dental North America. “Our goal with Fuse is to deliver a solution that seamlessly connects every report, schedule and patient. It is designed to boost practices’ productivity so our customers can focus on what matters most – caring for their patients.”

Fuse is a browser-based practice management application that leverages the cloud for dental office operations. Designed for both single- and multi-location dental offices, the Fuse platform is said to provide administrative, operational and business functionality for a dental practice.

Dental professionals received live demos of the solution at the Chicago Dental Society’s Midwinter Meeting in February. “Fuse is the future of dental software management,” says William Grider, DDS. “We’re excited to start something new.”

Fuse differentiated features include:

  • Connected data: Centralized and streamlined reporting, scheduling and patient data connect multiple locations via a single database.

  • Intuitive interface: Navigation that provides the ability to see patients’ full history in a simple, clean timeline, including everything from patient conditions to clinical notes, treatment plans, clinical forms, clinical documents, perio exams, images and more.

  • Smart Screens: From a single screen users can view, filter and act on real-time patient information. Users can toggle between practice locations to locate any patient record through a simple search bar.

  • Custom onboarding: A dedicated Customer Success Manager guides customers through a personalized onboarding plan that includes data migration, training and practice adoption. In addition, ongoing training and support is available in person, remotely or self-guided through the software.

Other features that come standard are said to include cloud 2D digital imaging/radiography, administrative, scheduling and charting functionality, dashboards, eClaims and ePrescriptions.

Fuse is designed to adapt to a practice’s needs and has the ability to add other eService offerings, including an insurance suite with real-time eligibility, online attachments and electronic remittance advice as well as a marketing suite that automates patient marketing, communication and education. The solution was built for flexibility to enable ongoing integration with new software and technology as a practice changes and grows.
