Hu-Friedy debuts XT Triple Bend Insert
Hu-Friedy announced the introduction of the XT Triple Bend to its ultrasonic insert product line. Joining the popular XT insert, the XT Triple Bend is another “extra thin, extra tough” design that gives clinicians the necessary access required for effective scaling procedures.
Hu-Friedy announced the introduction of the XT Triple Bend to its ultrasonic insert product line. Joining the popular XT insert, the XT Triple Bend is another “extra thin, extra tough” design that gives clinicians the necessary access required for effective scaling procedures.
The XT Triple Bend features a triple bend shank design for superior adaptability with beveled edges on the tip for efficient calculus removal. The XT Triple Bend tip is also 24% thinner than Hu-Friedy’s standard #1000 Triple Bend insert so it can be used in difficult to reach subgingival and interproximal areas. The XT Triple Bend is designed for light to moderate calculus removal in both supra and subgingival areas.

The new magnetostrictive insert is available in Streamline Direct Flow or SwivelTM Direct Flow styles giving the clinician two choices for ergonomic comfort and performance. The popular Swivel handle style allows for 360 degree rotation for efficient repositioning of the insert tip without repeated readjustment of the handpiece cord.
