The complete practice solution is designed to optimize the CAD/CAM process while providing outstanding clinical benefits and results.

Dentsply Sirona introduced CEREC® Essentials at Dentsply Sirona World 2017, a complete practice solution that reportedly optimizes the CAD/CAM process while providing outstanding clinical benefits and results. CEREC Essentials are a carefully curated suite of restorative materials intrinsically selected to match the powerful technology of CEREC while fulfilling all of the practitioner’s clinical needs. Designed to streamline restorative procedures, CEREC Essentials embody trust, speed and simplicity while exemplifying the brand excellence possessed by The Dental Solutions Company™.

Comprised of two high-quality block materials, Celtra® Duo Zirconia-reinforced Lithium Silicate (ZLS) and CEREC® Zirconia Translucent Zirconium Oxide Block, CEREC Essentials are said to enable clinicians to fulfill all clinical restorative procedures with a choice of material for every situation. Moreover, when used in conjunction with either material, the CEREC SpeedFire furnace reportedly boasts the industry’s fastest sintering cycles, creating a quicker, more efficient workflow without sacrificing clinical integrity.

Born from a legacy of two companies with a storied history of serving the dental world, CEREC Essentials represent a brand of innovations created by Dentsply Sirona that build trust among clinicians and their patients. Comprised of an integrated set of restorative materials necessary for the most streamlined and efficient CEREC workflow, these essential products are backed by a team of professionals known as “CEREC Consumables Representatives” who strive to help clinicians simplify the process and adjust to the changes associated with implementing CAD/CAM into their practices. CEREC Consumables Representatives aid practitioners in product choices, helping dentists keep their inventory relevant to the procedures they perform.

In an industry where time is of the essence, CEREC Essentials are designed to promote speed and cohesion - requiring fewer steps to complete a procedure with fewer ancillary items needed. CEREC Essentials reportedly not only ensure quicker performance, but also deliver rapid results with no compromise.

CEREC Essentials are curated to uphold the idea of simplicity - instead of having multiple products and workflows, the brand reduces material complexity by featuring two core restorative materials, Celtra Duo and CEREC Zirconia, and three complementary procedural components, including Calibra® Universal Self-Adhesive Resin Cement (for CEREC Zirconia restorations); Calibra® Ceram Adhesive Resin Cement with Prime&Bond elect® Universal Adhesive (for Celtra Duo restorations), and a Universal Stain and Glaze Kit, resulting in a comprehensive yet streamlined and efficient system for both milling materials. CEREC Essentials impart an intuitive system of products that work harmoniously with a wide array of materials to produce better, safer and faster dentistry for the benefit of both CEREC practitioners and their patients.
