// Data Protection & Restoration

Central Data Storage

Central Data Storage (CDS) is a data protection and restoration service that securely protects dental data with redundant on and offsite storage. This secure offsite data is held in its own private cloud, providing a quicker and more secure environment for dental office data, with encryption provided by UnisonBDR. As the dental practice creates data through many applications, the digital ecosystem changes every second of the day. CDS ensures that in case of data loss on the dental practice’s end, whether from hardware failure or cybersecurity issues, clean data will be safely stored and restored thanks to CDS and UnisonBDR. Benefiting from versioning, 448-bit encryption, deduplication, and compression, CDS-managed recovery enables business continuity and minimal downtime in data recovery. There are no hidden fees or extra costs. CDS is HIPAA compliant, accessible, and secure while working seamlessly with popular practice management such as Dentrix, Open Dental, Curve, Denticon, and more.
