    CareCredit integrates with Patterson's Eaglesoft practice management software

    The enhanced functionality is designed to provide a faster, easier check-out process for patients.

    CareCredit, a leading provider of promotional health care financing, is now integrated using the latest version of Patterson’s Eaglesoft practice management solution. The enhanced functionality is said to make it even easier for teams to help patients use the CareCredit health, wellness and personal care credit card to get the care they need.

    For more than three years, practice teams who accept CareCredit could use their Eaglesoft solution to quickly and efficiently submit CareCredit patient applications. With the newest upgrade, teams can now also seamlessly integrate with CareCredit to run a transaction that will automatically post to the patient ledger and can look up a CareCredit account number if the patient does not have their card with them—all without leaving their software. This newly expanded integration reportedly saves teams valuable time and facilitates a faster check-out for patients.

    “We understand that every second counts in a busy dental practice. The latest version of Eaglesoft further streamlines and simplifies how teams use CareCredit within their practice to help patients,” says Doug Hammond, senior vice president and general manager, CareCredit.

    “With each software upgrade, we incorporate valuable new features that benefit practice teams and ultimately, their patients,” says Cecile Schauer, vice president of marketing, commercial software, Patterson Dental. “Providing integrated access to CareCredit’s offerings can make it easier for teams to share financial options with patients. Which, in turn, makes it easier for patients who have an out-of-pocket expense to choose to move forward with recommended treatment.”

    Practice teams who have already upgraded to the new Eaglesoft version and who accept CareCredit can use the new functionality, including the CareCredit transact feature, immediately. Teams on Eaglesoft Service Club who have yet to upgrade can upgrade to Eaglesoft 19 for free by contacting Patterson Technology Services at 800-475-5036. Dental teams who have yet to add CareCredit as a payment option for their patients can call 800-300-3046, option 5 to get started.
