Iowa: 75% vowels, 100% awesome for dentists. Although it’s dropped one slot from its number two ranking in 2015, Iowans boast the third-best dental habits in the country. While the Hawkeye State ranks in the middle of the pack for median income and education levels, high insurance percentages and low crime statistics contributed to the state’s number three ranking. Iowa ranked 12th overall for dental visits and finished 14 out of 50 for general well being, bumping this hearty Midwestern land to the number three slot.
