Hu-Friedy Hand Essentials™, now launched in Canada, broadens commitment to infection control
CHICAGO – Jan. 3, 2012 – Hu-Friedy, a global leader in the manufacturing of dental instruments and products, announced the introduction of Hu-Friedy’s Hand Essentials to the Canadian market. Several products from the premium hand care line, already available in the U.S., became available for purchase beginning Jan. 3. The Hand Essentials line includes moisturizers and a lotion soap providing dental professionals with medical grade products for help with infection control program compliance.
Hu-Friedy Hand Essentials has been designed specifically to help promote proper hand hygiene protocols in the dental office. Each product supports specific routines that dental professionals perform each day including hand washing and skin protection as recommended by the CDC.
Hand Essentials Skin Repair Cream helps restore the skin’s natural moisture balance and is uniquely suited for dental professionals, including those who are at high risk for skin breakdown due to frequent washing. Hand Essentials Skin Repair Cream contains a special ingredient, Olivamine® to help deliver moisture and all of the essential nutrients necessary for optimal skin health including amino acids, vitamins, antioxidants, and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM).
The Hu-Friedy Hand Essentials family also includes Lotion Soap and Hand Essentials Moisturizing Lotion. The Hand Essentials Lotion Soap is a gentle formula that includes moisturizers.
