News Technology standards New Dental Integrators Association promises to standardize the technology needs of the national dental community. PARSIPPANY, NJ, MAY 1, 2009 – Dental technology took a large leap forward on April 24th and 25th in Orlando, Florida. It was the location of the First Annual Dental Integrators Conference put on by the newly organized Dental Integrators Association (DIA). “The average dental office in the United States, this day and age, is so dependent on computer technology, that it needs a computer support company who understands digital x-ray, 3-D imaging; “Chartless” computing, cosmetic imaging; and so much more…” says Jeffrey Weiss, the DIA’s Founder and current President. The Dental Integrators Association is going to be an aggressive organization, which will work to accomplish 2 main goals. One is to educate the national dental community on the ‘specialty’ known as dental integration. There are hundreds of companies in our country and Canada, who have taken the time educate themselves on, not only computers and networking, but dentistry, as well. Secondly, the DIA will strive to standardize the experience that a dental practice will have when dealing with a member anywhere in the country. Each member will be familiar with the installation and support of all of the major brands of software and technology products in today’s dental community, plus, all the latest computer and software technologies available to not only dental practices, but to all small businesses. All dentists who use a DIA member will know that the support company that they depend on to keep their practices technology running smoothly, will be very familiar, and in most cases, Certified with their software technology provider. The practice owner can also feel comfortable knowing that a member company will be held to certain standards while performing services to their customers. In the event of an issue, their dental integrator will resolve it timely and efficiently, minimizing any downtime. Finally, the Dental Integrators Association was self-created and will be self-managed by its members, which are all independent companies whose sole purpose is to study and implement computer technology. Please contact the Dental Integrators Association at 973-889-0030 for more information or to find out how to contact your local member company.
