Applying New Technologies | Flashlite Magna™
Compact, convenient, and powerful curing
Information provided by Discus Dental and Dr. Edward Lowe
Designed with efficiency in mind, the Flashlite Magna™ LED curing light offers a large tip size (14.2 mm) and large diameter beam (11 mm), with an average output of 1,500 mW/cm2 over the entire beam.
These size upgrades allow the clinician to cure more of a restoration in a large tooth, like a molar, as well as cure multiple restorations simultaneously. With a complete and adequate depth of cure, the powerful beam reduces the number of cure cycles needed to complete a large composite restoration, resulting in shorter appointment times.
Its access, power, and size allow this curing light to act as a valuable adjunct in a busy, restorative practice. |
| | | Features: • Instead of one, the unit has three LEDs for intense power. • The slide-on lens cap allows the light to be closer to the restoration. It also helps avoid cracks or other damage to the lens. It is easy to remove and clean.
• Its short head angle allows it to reach any part of the mouth.
• The light operates in just one mode. It has a 20-second shut-off and beeps every 5 seconds.
• Weighing just 4.3 ounces, the compact, cordless, 8.6-inch long frame offers optimal maneuverability.
