Applying CAD/CAM Splints in your practice

Using a digital process that accepts standard models, CAD/CAM Splints require less chair time to deliver high-quality occlusal splints. Both mounted and unmounted cases can be processed using precise, digital modeling of articulation and jaw excursions.

First things first: 

A good bite record is recommended, ideally taken in CR. Alternatively, a bite that is open about 1 mm in the rear should
be provided.

Accuracy and optimization: 

Unmounted cases are digitally articulated to establish averages—proven accurate in more than 10,000 cases. Contact point locations are automatically optimized using software.

Divot-free surface: 

Machining produces a smooth surface without indexing marks. Splints can be made using hard acrylics or soft materials.

ADDED PLUS: Complete condylar geometry is under software control.
