KaVo EVEREST performs effortlessly where other CAD/CAM systems have their limitations—such as challenging feather preps, tricky Maryland bridges, and telescopes—due to the system’s scanning and milling technology. The tilting and turning stripe light scanner captures a high amount of data (210 images) to ensure correct information throughout the restoration, not just at the margin. The simultaneous five-axis milling machine features a wide range of movement and mills actual curves versus steps. A patented embedding system allows for supported milling of the zirconium dioxide to thin dimensions with razor-sharp margins with no holding sprues to hold the restoration in place. Plus, due to the newly developed Ronden (Disc) milling feature, the system also allows overnight manufacturing of up to 50 units without manual intervention.
EVEREST key features:
Supported milling process
Simultaneous five-axis milling technology
Double scan capability
Ultimate durability
