February 2009 | Dental Lab Products
Numerous organizations and manufacturers have events planned in Chicago during the last week of February, but they’re all in town in the wake of the massive Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meetingwww.cds.org/mwm) that lands south of Downtown at the McCormick Place Lakeside Center Thursday through Sunday, Feb. 26-March 1. With more than 600 manufacturers, dealers, suppliers, and laboratories showing their wares, the tradeshow exhibition Friday through Sunday is not to be missed. The scientific programs run Thursday through Sunday with more than 225 courses covering almost every imaginable topic for all dental professionals. Continuing last year’s paperless initiative, course handouts will not be available on site, but can be accessed on the CDS Web site as downloadable PDFs. Attendees are encouraged to print materials for the courses they plan to attend before the meeting. Many courses require a fee, while some free courses require pre-registration and a ticket, all of which can be obtained through the CDS Web site. Michael Florman and Rob Veis will present a session on orthodontics for the general dentist.
