SmartPractice partners with organizations active in Haitian Relief

PHOENIX, Arizona--SmartPractice has responded to the global need for medical, dental and infection control supplies by partnering with organizations that act as first responders in times of crisis.

Two of these partners, MAP International and Project C.U.R.E., are providing aid to the people of Haiti in the aftermath of the January 2010 earthquake that stuck the country.

Contributions to the these organizations include:

* MAP International--$31,000 in gloves in direct response to January's earthquake
* Project C.U.R.E.--$131,000 in clinical supplies and $20,000 in gloves in 2009

These donations will help practitioners perform lifesaving procedures more safely and effectively while protecting themselves and those they are treating from potentially life-threatening infections.

SmartPractice plans to make additional supply and glove donations to these and other organizations throughout 2010, and is urging people to make monetary donations through the aid organization of your choice.
