Henrik Roos appointed President, Imaging Group
Danaher announced that Henrik Roos has been appointed to the position of President, Imaging Group and will have full responsibility for leading Danaher’s worldwide Imaging businesses, which includes DEXIS, Gendex, i-CAT, Instrumentarium and SOREDEX. With this appointment there will be no change to market strategy, the businesses will continue to serve the dental markets with the existing portfolio of brands, supported by the current sales organizations and sold through the existing distribution partners.
Henrik joined Danaher in November 2009 via the PaloDEx acquisition where he was the President and Chief Executive Officer. His earlier dental experience included leadership positions at Dentsply, Gendex/Rinn Imaging and Orion Corporation. “We are thrilled to have Henrik in this key position, he brings over 20 years of Dental industry experience to Danaher and has a track record of customer focus, innovation and growth,” said Henk van Duijnhoven, Group Executive of Danaher’s KaVo Group.
Henrik Roos added: “I am truly excited to be leading the combined Imaging business and see it as a unique opportunity to provide new and innovative technologies in digital dentistry with a focus on diagnostics and treatment planning for general practitioners and specialists.”
Bob Joyce, outgoing President of DEXIS, Gendex, and i-CAT, will be appointed to a new leadership position within Danaher in the coming weeks.
